If you've just created your Beacons account and are now looking to add TikTok and YouTube videos, read on ahead.
First, you will need to actually connect your TikTok account to your Beacons account.
Connecting TikTok with Beacons
Open your Tiktok Profile
Open your TikTok profile. You'll see three dots in the top right-hand corner. From the options shown, choose Manage Account.
Switch to Business Account
You have to switch your account to a business account. So, go ahead and choose 'Switch to a Business Account.' A Business account is a crucial requirement.
Choose a Category
Next, you will see multiple categories like Personal Blog, Media, Entertainment and Education, etc. Now, choose a category.
Embed your Website Link
After clicking on edit profile, a space will appear to put your website link. For example, you can paste your website link created by Beacons. It can be like this beacons.ai/gadgetsshow. Finally, click on the website link. On your Tiktok Home page or profile, the link will appear. These are the steps of linking your Tiktok Account to your Beacons Account.
Adding Tiktok Videos to Beacons Profile
To add TikTok videos to your Beacons profile, do the following.
- Go to your TikTok app.
- Select the video you want to embed by clicking on the Share Icon.
- Click 'Copy Link' and paste the link into the text box.
- You now have a link you can paste into your Beacons profile.
Adding YouTube Videos to Beacons Profile
Similar to adding TikTok videos to your Beacons page, you need to get the video URL from YouTube to add a YouTube page. Then, you can add this as one of your links.
